Can't fault this place at all. Owner was extremely friendly and had a very cute dog room was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and it's very close to the centre of town. Didn't opt for the breakfast but there were people sat outside drinking coffee and eating wjat looked like pastries. Would highly recommend.
Julie and Martin are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, they helped make our 3 night stay in Bath just wonderful. The atmosphere they create makes you feel relaxed and cheerful and upbeat. The whole place is very clean and well-maintained, the rooms are large, the breakfasts have plenty of choice and are well-prepared, parking is absolutely fine and access to the city centre an easy 5-minute stroll. I've stayed in plenty of guest houses and this is one of the very best. My daughter and I are really looking forward to coming back - thank you both so much.

I had an amazing time at the Avon guest house! The room was clean and charming. The location is fantastic, the room is nice, and the service is great! I was shocked at how close it was to the town center. It was also walkable to and from the train station. Julie is very helpful in mapping out the area, giving suggestions, and ensuring a comfortable stay. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stay there, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place.
Had a fantastic stay at Avon Guesthouse. The location was perfect, 5/10 mins walk from the town centre. The room was clean, comfortable, large & very tidy. Julie was an amazing host & parking was an added bonus also. Would definitely stay here again!
Clean comfortable and tastefully decorated theres a small car park at the rear and its a pleasant 10 minute stroll into Bath.Breakfast isn't included anymore which is fine by me and it reflects on the price of your stay I think. Theres Tea and Coffee making facilities in your room to set you up for your day.Highly recommended
What a little gem! Julie is a very welcoming host, we had a beautiful ensuite room, and an added bonus....a parking space! Central location, 5 minute walk into Bath. On Julie's recommendation we also had breakfast in the local high street at Widcombe....lovely little walk! You'll see us again Julie!
We had a wonderful stay in Bath despite a troublesome journey, Julie was a very accommodating and welcoming host. The location was amazing a quick 10mins to the Roman Baths and the City Centre. The room was lovely and we had a good night’s sleep. 5/5 would absolutely recommend Julie and her wonderful Avon Guesthouse!
